Step in front of the lens and I’ll do the rest.
Life is a journey worth documenting. Sometimes its not easy. Nailing jello to a wall may seem easier then getting a family photo where everyone looks like they are getting along. But families are messy, loud, joyful and full of grass stains.
No matter how much planning goes into creating a picture perfect moment straight out of Pinterest, its the unexpected moments, captured at the right second that become extraordinary, unique and memorable. Sometimes the wedding cake falls over when its being cut, sometimes children jump in mud puddles instead of staying clean, sometimes it rains when it should have been sunny. Life happens, so lets make beautiful pictures together.
A little about myself
I’m a member of the Kingston Photo Club and have been for the last 5 years. I take pictures of almost everything including paintball, which I also play on a regular basis. I love to travel and I have made my way to Colorado, Ireland and New Brunswick. It’s not a long list I know but I am always looking for ways to add to it. I grew up off the grid - no phone, no power or cable. The only TV I got was MacGyver on Monday nights and The Smurfs on Saturday courtesy of a 9volt TV and a set of rabbit ears. I have two cats, a dog the same size as a cat, three very creative kids and an amazing husband that I met working at the drive-in movie theatre fifteen summers ago. I love all things Sci-fi and treasure things that are homemade. I also have a large collection of film cameras, many of which I still use and enjoy.
